Another concept painting for Walt Disney’s “Sleeping Beauty”…


This is the original concept art for London Bridge, by Eyvind Earle, for a Disney short called “The Truth About Mother Goose” from 1957.  Part 1 of 2 is on the link below:


I’ve never seen this.  Apparently it’s located in a juice bar in Fantasyland in Disneyland.

Here’s the original attraction poster for the Swiss Family Treehouse at Disneyland before they perverted it into that Tarzan-Phil-Collins-bullshit.  Eyvind Earle painted the original version of this, and it shows.  The tree branches look very “Sleeping Beauty”, the biggest project he did for Disney before eventually going solo.
